Iran Has Launched 370 Missiles Since Start of Conflict – Military Sources

June 16, 2025

Military intelligence sources have confirmed that Iran has fired at least 370 missiles since the outbreak of hostilities with Israel, marking one of the most intense missile offensives in recent Middle Eastern conflicts.

The missile launches, which began in the early days of the escalation, have targeted various strategic and military positions, including bases, airfields, and infrastructure in Israeli territory. Some rockets reportedly failed midair or were intercepted by Israel’s advanced air defense systems, including the Iron Dome and Barak Magen.

In a statement, an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson said, “While we’ve managed to intercept a majority of the projectiles, the sheer volume of fire indicates a significant shift in Iran’s operational approach and missile capability.”

Iranian media outlets claim the attacks are in direct retaliation for Israeli airstrikes on critical Iranian infrastructure, including a suspected strike on nuclear facilities.

The missile barrage has raised international alarm, with several governments urging restraint and immediate de-escalation. Meanwhile, civilians across both nations remain on high alert as the risk of a broader regional war continues to rise.

Further updates are expected as both sides assess the impact and prepare their next moves.
