In a condolence message issued by the bank, the late elder statesman was described as a “towering figure whose lifelong dedication to business, Islamic advancement, and national development has left an indelible mark on Nigeria.”
The bank hailed his immense contributions, particularly his pivotal role in supporting faith-based and community-driven development projects across the country. A respected patron of Jaiz Bank, Alhaji Dantata was also instrumental in the founding of the institution as Nigeria’s first non-interest bank, guided by principles of ethical finance.

Jaiz Bank prayed for Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the late icon’s shortcomings, accept his righteous deeds, and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaws, while also praying for strength and comfort for his family and loved ones.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata’s passing marks the end of a distinguished era of service, with his legacy certain to inspire generations to come.
