The leading Socio-religiious Islamic Organization, Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), has hosted Muslims and non-Muslims, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, to a memorable reception and amusing activities, in celebration of the just-concluded Ramadan Fasting.
The programme was tagged Eid Funfair 2025.
According to the host, the NASFAT Abuja Main Branch 2025 Ramadan Committee, The Eid Fun-fair was put together to appreciate Allah and all those who supported the 2025 Ramadan Activities of the Branch.
This year, the Committee successfully fed around 2000 people daily, provided 29 days of Iftar and Sahur to the FCT School for the Blind in Jabi, hosted six series of Ramadan Public lectures and special prayers, provided food palliative for several families and individuals, hosted 150 Muslim faithful for the Last 10 days I’tikaf Prayers and Tahajjud among several other activities.

After a successful Eid Prayer held on 1st Shawal appreciating Allah’s favor on us, it is important to thrill our families and loved ones, hence the Maiden edition of the Eid Family Fun Fair. This event featured swimming for children, painting, Bouncing, table & board games, and lots of fun-filled activities for children, youths, and adults.
It was a perfect local getaway to unwind, be merry, and exchange gifts and pleasantries amidst love, kindness, and Halal socialization.
One of the high points of the event was a reminder to keep the lessons learned during the holy month and strive to remain a good, kind, and God-fearing human being.
Speaking at the event, the Zonal Chairman of NASFAT, FCT, Dr Raji Nasir Mustapha, explained that the event, which was the first of its kind in the branch, was aimed at showing love, rekindling happiness, fostering unity, and peaceful coexistence within the community.
He appreciated the leadership and members of the branch’s Ramadan Committee, the Eid Funfair sub-committee, for working tirelessly to ensure that the event became a success.
“This is the maiden edition, we look forward to making it a grand event that’ll be attended by thousands of people in the future”
Also speaking at the event, NASFAT National Ex-Officio and Secretary of the 2025 Ramadan Committee, NASFAT Abuja main Branch, Alhaji Kabir Raji, added that the event was an opportunity for family bonding, physical fitness, and religious tolerance, as it was opened to Muslims and non-muslims.
“It is important to hold the event in the mosque premises to show the World that Islam preaches love and tolerance” Kabir Reiterated.
On her part, the branch’s Women Affairs Secretary, Alhaja Aminat Adejumo, couldn’t curtail her joy, as she described the event as a dream come true.
“I am sincerely happy to see the joy on people’s faces, we will strive hard to achieve a better event next time,” she said.
