As NASFAT empowers members and non Muslims.

A former president of nasfat Mr Niyi Yusuf has called on Nigerians to always learn to give back to the society in a bid ensure poverty becomes a thing of the past.
Mr Niyi Yusuf gave this advice at the occasion of nasfat empowerment program today 24th of August 2024 at the nasfat headquarters alausa ikeja Lagos.
He emphasized that by giving back to the society cheerful givers will be willing to do more and more people than now shall benefit from their benevolent.
Alh Abdul Waheed Ayodeji Abdul Rauf President nasfat worldwide commended the economic and empowerment committee and advised the beneficiaries to hold firm their kits to become a donor soonest .he also affirmed that about 100 people have been trained in the last one year and about 67 of them have been employed.

He reiterated the importance of empowering people as a tool that prevents illegal migration, adding that if people must relocate they will be skilful and employable.
The chairman of the occasion Alhaji Abdul Fatai Ademokunla believed nasfat was his root that must not be forgotten despite being in the diaspora.
Alhaja Fausiat Adegeye in her opening speech said the empowerment is aimed at 200 beneficiaries but only 50 have the first phase of kits this year, where each of them got kits not less than a hundred thousand naira per beneficiary.
Alhaja omowunmi George admonished the beneficiaries to make judicial use of their kits and ensure they train other people in their zones and branches to extend the skills learnt so far.
People were trained and kitted in various spheres of life ranging from tailoring,tilling , party engagement, electrical works, event decorations and halal foods production.
Other dignitaries that at the occasion includes Alhaji Omotunde Young a member of the board of trustee,Alhaja Arogundade,Alhaji Saka who was a former empowerment secretary,Dr Abdul Raheem Jimoh Adio, a former empowerment secretary from ota branch and Alhaja Jolaosho .
Alhaja Onike in her goodwill message advised the beneficiaries to volunteer to train others and also encourage empowerment committee to monitor the disbursement for proper evaluation of results to encourage the donors.
