MINA, SAUDI ARABIA — Nigerian pilgrims performing this year’s Hajj under the Mashariq Al Dhahabia service provider were on Tuesday, June 4, served special take-along meal packages by Shurakha Alkhair Kitchen as they journeyed toward Mina for the key rites of the pilgrimage.
The distribution, which took place under coordinated logistics and supervision, is part of ongoing efforts to ensure the comfort and well-being of Nigerian pilgrims during the spiritually intense days of Hajj. The meal packages contained carefully prepared items meant to meet both nutritional and religious standards.

Officials say the initiative reflects the commitment of service providers to uphold the welfare agreement entered into with Nigerian Hajj authorities. It also highlights the collaborative efforts between Nigeria’s National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) and Saudi-based partners in guaranteeing a seamless pilgrimage experience.
Pilgrims expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting the convenience and care shown in catering to their needs during the long and taxing movement from Makkah to Mina. The distribution is part of broader services provided to over 95,000 Nigerian pilgrims expected to participate in this year’s Hajj exercise.
