Ola Aina Emerges as FA Cup’s Top Dribbler

Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has been recognized as the most prolific dribbler in the FA Cup quarter-finals, following his impressive performance in Forest’s dramatic 4-3 penalty shootout victory over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

According to football statistics provider WhoScored, Aina completed five successful dribbles, outperforming some of the Premier League’s most renowned dribblers, including Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva, Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, and Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey.

Aina’s impressive display saw him attempt seven dribbles, completing five, while De Bruyne and Silva managed just one each in Manchester City’s 2-1 comeback win against Bournemouth on Sunday.

The Nigerian international’s exceptional performance also earned him a place in WhoScored’s FA Cup Team of the Round, alongside Nikola Milenkovic (Nottingham Forest), Maxence Lacroix (Crystal Palace), and Brighton’s Pervis Estupiñán.

Aina’s teammates will now prepare for a high-stakes showdown against Manchester City at Wembley, with a place in the FA Cup final at stake. The win over Brighton marked Nottingham Forest’s first FA Cup semi-final appearance in 34 years.
