In a proactive step to improve the pilgrimage experience for Nigerians, the Saudi Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah recently engaged in an interactive session with key Nigerian stakeholders, including the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and two major service providers involved in the Hajj operations.
The meeting, aimed at enhancing the planning and delivery of services for the upcoming 2025 Hajj exercise, brought together high-level representatives to discuss logistics, accommodations, health services, and transportation for pilgrims. The session underscored the shared commitment to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and spiritually fulfilling journey for all Nigerian pilgrims.
NAHCON officials used the platform to highlight ongoing efforts to improve coordination, communication, and operational efficiency between Nigerian agencies and Saudi authorities. The service providers also presented their plans for enhanced facilities and support systems that would address challenges experienced in previous years.
The Saudi Deputy Minister reaffirmed the Kingdom’s dedication to facilitating a seamless Hajj experience and expressed readiness to collaborate closely with NAHCON and other Nigerian stakeholders.
