In a significant cultural and religious outreach, the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has distributed more than 6,000 copies of the Holy Qur’an to attendees at the 39th Tunisia International Book Fair, which commenced on April 25 and is scheduled to run until May 4, 2025.
The distribution initiative is part of the Kingdom’s broader efforts to promote Islamic teachings and values globally. The Qur’an copies, sourced from the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an, include various translations and editions to cater to a diverse audience.
Visitors to the Saudi pavilion have the opportunity to explore an extensive collection of Islamic literature and engage with interactive digital applications. These include a 3D Hajj and Umrah experience, a correct citation application, and virtual reality tours of the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah.
The ministry’s participation in the book fair underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to serving the Qur’an and supporting Islam and Muslims worldwide. By providing access to religious texts and educational resources, the initiative aims to foster a deeper understanding of Islamic principles and promote cultural exchange.
