According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tinubu’s birthday this year is particularly significant as it comes just two months before his administration’s second anniversary. The President is expected to use the moment for deep reflection, expressing gratitude to God for strength and wisdom in steering the country through its current challenges.
Tinubu has also invited Nigerians to join the prayers in their own way, emphasizing the importance of unity and shared responsibility in nation-building. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to economic reforms, enhanced security, and greater opportunities for all citizens.
Since assuming office in May 2023, Tinubu’s administration has implemented significant economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of the foreign exchange market. While these policies have presented short-term hardships, the government insists they are necessary steps toward long-term economic stability.
