Chairman of Tantita Security Services Limited, High Chief (Dr.) Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a new leadership team for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
In a personally signed statement, the former militant leader and influential figure in Nigeria’s oil security sector extended his congratulations to the newly appointed Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojuolari, the Board Chairman, Ahmadu Musa Kida, and other board members.
Tompolo described the appointments as a strategic move towards revitalizing Nigeria’s oil and gas industry, reaffirming that Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) remains fully committed to collaborating with the NNPCL to safeguard the country’s oil assets and enhance production.
“We recognize this appointment as a crucial turning point for the NNPCL and Nigeria’s oil and gas sector. We deeply appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his foresight in selecting experienced professionals to lead the industry at such a pivotal moment,” Tompolo stated.
He expressed confidence that under the new leadership, the President’s vision of increasing Nigeria’s crude oil production to two million barrels per day and improving local refining capacity would be realized.
“As always, TSSNL remains unwavering in its commitment to working alongside the NNPCL to secure and advance Nigeria’s oil production capabilities. Our extensive expertise in oil asset protection and strong presence in the Niger Delta make us a dependable partner in ensuring the nation’s resources are protected and efficiently managed,” he added.
Tompolo also encouraged the new NNPCL management team to remain focused and embrace innovative approaches, assuring them of his organization’s full backing.
“The expectations are immense, but with their wealth of experience, dedication, and the collective support of all stakeholders, we are confident that they will guide the NNPCL towards a new era of growth and operational excellence,” he affirmed.
He concluded by extending his best wishes to the new leadership team, expressing optimism that their tenure would usher in much-needed transformation and progress for Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
