Yobe Government Calls on Civil Servants to Back State Policies –

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has urged civil servants in the state to recommit to their duties and maintain loyalty to his administration’s policies and programs. This call was made during a reception hosted by the state government to mark the end of Eid el-Fitr festivities at the Government House in Damaturu.

Representing the governor, Deputy Governor Idi Barde Gubana expressed gratitude for the peaceful celebration and informed guests that Governor Buni is currently in Saudi Arabia, performing the lesser Hajj and praying for Nigeria and Yobe State’s peace and success. Gubana emphasized the importance of residents staying committed to the government’s policies and reminded civil servants to dedicate themselves to their duties while remaining faithful and loyal to the state government.

The Chief Imam of Yobe Mosque and Islamic Center, Ustas Hudu Mohammad Yusuf, also expressed gratitude for the successful Eid el-Fitr celebration and highlighted the significance of the sallah festivities. The event concluded with prayers for Yobe state’s peace and progress, as well as Nigeria’s continued development, followed by the traditional “Eid Mubarak, Barka da Sallah” greetings.
