The Lagos State Government has officially released the approved harmonized academic calendar for all public and private schools below the tertiary level for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a statement issued by the State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, the newly approved calendar is aimed at fostering uniformity, planning efficiency, and improved learning outcomes across the state’s school system.

According to the schedule, the first term will begin on Monday, September 8, 2025, and end on Friday, December 12, 2025. The second term is slated to run from Monday, January 5, 2026, to Friday, April 3, 2026, while the third term will commence on Monday, April 27, 2026, and conclude on Friday, July 24, 2026.
