New Osun FRSC Sector Commander Assumes Duty, Inspects Quarter Guard

Following the recent deployment of senior officers by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Management, Corps Commander Leye Adegboyega, fsi, has officially assumed duty as the Sector Commander of RS11.1 Osun State Sector Command. His assumption of office took place on Thursday, May 2, 2025.

Upon arrival at the command headquarters, CC Adegboyega was warmly received by officers and staff of the command. As part of the official protocols, he inspected a Quarter Guard mounted in his honour by a detachment of the command’s marshals — a tradition symbolising respect and formal welcome for a new commander.

The new Sector Commander takes over the helm of the Osun State command with a wealth of experience, having served in various leadership capacities within the FRSC. His deployment is part of an ongoing effort by the Corps Marshal to reposition the agency’s operations nationwide for improved service delivery and enforcement efficiency.

CC Adegboyega is expected to drive strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing road safety, public education, and traffic law enforcement across Osun State. His leadership comes at a critical time as the Corps intensifies efforts to reduce road traffic crashes and ensure compliance with traffic regulations.

He has since held closed-door meetings with senior officers to familiarise himself with the command’s operational framework and chart a clear course for his tenure.
