President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Professor Anthony Adegbulugbe, the Chancellor of Joseph Ayo Babalola University, on his 70th birthday, praising his remarkable achievements and contributions to academia, evangelism, business, and philanthropy ¹.
Tinubu recalled sharing the podium with Adegbulugbe in October 2019, when they both received honorary doctorates at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti. He described standing beside Adegbulugbe as “truly an honour,” acknowledging his outstanding dedication and humility.
Adegbulugbe has had an impressive academic journey, graduating with a First-Class degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) in 1976, with a perfect Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 ¹.
Tinubu expressed confidence in Adegbulugbe’s continued pursuit of excellence and his ongoing contributions to Nigeria’s development. He wished Adegbulugbe and his wife, Princess Afolake Adegbulugbe, many more years of good health and abundant blessings.
